Mio-era is a NYC-based music project created by singer-songwriter Yifei Zhou, Inspired by Jazz, Folk, electronics, ambient, experimental and pop tradition. Born out of intimate, bedroom songwriting sessions, Mio-era is a collection of deeply personal songs that reflect Yifei’s journey as a woman navigating both struggle and self-discovery. Through her music, Yifei explores themes of empowerment, vulnerability, and the healing process. Each track is a reflection of the solutions she has discovered along the way, with the hope that her songs offer the same sense of solace to listeners that they have brought to her.
